Our research scope concerns investigations of various types of semiconducting structures. We study properties of both, underlying materials, including ‘classical’ group III-V, II-VI and IV compounds and alloys, particularly highly mismatched alloys, but also van der Waals crystals and perovskites; as well as device structures, such as light emitters, solar cells and transistors. We primarily employ different variants of modulation spectroscopy – photoreflectance, electroreflectance and piezoreflectance), supplemented by photoacoustic spectroscopy or deep level transient spectroscopy. Experimental result analysis is supported by numerical calculations. For additional information please refer here.
